The ideal candidate is agile, capable of multitasking and has experience with CAD tools and mechanical systems:

  • Assemble and test jigs, fixtures and mechanical assemblies to support development and production processes
  • Conduct experiments on mechanical components or systems; record, analyse and document findings accurately
  • Maintain and organise the mechanical workshop, including tools, equipment and consumables
  • Support prototype development and engineering trials with practical and technical input
  • Use CAD software (Preferable SolidWorks) to view and occasionally edit mechanical drawings or models
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, including documenting assembly instructions, test results and equipment logs
  • Collaborate across teams including engineers, designers and project leads to ensure timely delivery of tasks
  • Apply strong attention to detail to ensure high quality standards in all mechanical tasks
  • Work independently and efficiently manage multiple task in a dynamic environment
  • Ad hoc duties as require
Responsibilities

We are seeking a hands-on and detailed oriented Mechanical Technician to join our team.
This role involves assembling mechanical jigs and fixtures, supporting experimental setups, maintaining workshop equipment and handling light administrative tasks such as documentation, PDM system management.
