YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship / qualifications
• Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent
• Aircraft platform training – Military Typhoon ‘Q’ Course

• Undertaking and completing tasks on-aircraft maintenance activities on assigned Part 145/KR640 aircraft, which may include, aircraft handling tasks, MOD embodiments, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test
• Analysing and diagnosing faults to components & assemblies; applying diagnostic skills & knowledge to effect repairs or modify equipment or suggest improvements to procedures.
• Ensuring that maintenance is undertaken to schedule and resolve any issues, escalate as required
• Demonstrating a flexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilities appropriate to the role and takes direction appropriately
• Maintaining personal task competencies for working on aircraft
• Supporting tasks within the Aircraft maintenance facility which are required to maintain compliance with the MOE and Functionally Mandated procedures (e.g. oversight checks, control of tooling / test equipment etc.).
• Receiving On The Job training activities and maintaining personal Log Book for currency and recency
