If so, then we want you on our team! MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC - ON THE ROAD Summary of responsibilities Inspect and diagnose defects or malfunctions Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand or power tools Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation Clean, lubricate, and perform other regular maintenance on equipment Complete all required reports and forms related to work assignments Record time and materials used in performing assigned tasks Maintain the condition of the mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment Maintain a clean and organized work environment Other related duties Skills Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record At least one year of experience in the crushing industry At least three years of experience as a heavy equipment technician Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly Ability to use basic computer functions Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Punctuality Schedule Monday to Friday Start and end of shift varies depending on travel requirements. Responsibilities
The mechanical technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment malfunctions in the field. They must also perform regular maintenance, document work assignments, and maintain the mobile service vehicle and tools.
