About the Role We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our Wireline team in Kintore. In this hands-on role, you will assemble, test, and support the delivery of industry-leading K-Winch products, including wireline winches, masts, and associated equipment used by customers around the world. Working as part of a close-knit production team, you will help ensure products are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll Do * Assemble and test wireline winches, masts, and associated equipment in line with NOV standards and procedures * Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bills of materials * Manufacture and assemble hydraulic systems while maintaining required cleanliness standards * Monitor materials and components to identify defects or faults * Ensure product quality while maintaining required levels of output * Support operational goals including on-time delivery and schedule attainment * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the introduction of new techniques and products * Proactively identify and communicate issues that may impact assembly activities or delivery timelines * Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive working environment * Support operational requirements, including reasonable overtime when required What You'll Bring Essential * Time-served apprenticeship * NC qualification in a relevant discipline * Background within a mechanical trade or mechanical engineering environment * Ability to safely operate hand and power tools * Understanding of hydraulic schematics Desirable * HNC or equivalent higher qualification in a relevant subject * Experience within an assembly or manufacturing environment * Forklift and/or overhead crane certification We welcome applications from newly qualified candidates who can demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
