The Automation Technician position is a great fit for a detail-oriented individual that understands assembly of custom automation equipment and wiring of control systems. $25-$35/hr DOE.
Duties may include:
· Fabricating, assembling/disassembling manufactured products and equipment by hand.
· Build custom equipment per the mechanical assembly prints.
· Installing electrical components and systems.
· Testing equipment and reporting data.
· Analyzing technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, and test data, and also need to communicate the end result.
· Collaborating with customers.
· Performing service work and customer support (Travel is required approx. 20-30%).
Knowledge/Skills Required:
· A 2-year associate degree in a related field a plus.
· Must be able to work independently with minimal instruction after training.
· Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and have general computer skills.
· Must have great people skills and be able to work well with others.
· Prefer 2-5 years’ experience as an electro-mechanical technician.
· Prefer someone with the ability to grow into larger roles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
