WORK EXPERIENCE

Engineering degree (Mechanical)
5 to 10 years of oil gas experience in related industry (refining/petrochemical/LNG/oil&gas)
Pay Range: $40K to $50K

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Baytown, TX

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in shutdowns and turnarounds in refineries/ chemical plants.
  • Should be knowledgeable on –
  • Blinding/ de-blinding for positive isolation.
  • Reading P&IDs and blinding diagrams.
  • Line tracing
  • Piping fabrication (optional), fit up
  • Able to read piping isometrics and draw hand sketches for the same.
  • Able to identify various piping components like different types of valves/ o-let connections / other commonly used pipe fittings.
  • Able to identify punched markings on pipe fittings
  • Able to identify vessel name plates.
  • Ability to walk around the plant without any difficulties
