ABOUT

Shamrock Renewable Products Limited (SRPL) produce a range of solid fuels including wood briquettes and wood pellets using renewable resources such as forestry biomass wood and willow, for both domestic and commercial consumers. Our new state-of-the-art production facility is located at Balrath, Kells, Co Meath A82 HD28. This production will be the largest Carbon Neutral Green Energy biofuel production plant in Ireland.
Shamrock Renewable Products Limited is seeking applications from flexible, eager to learn individuals who will participate in on-the-job training, to join the Shamrock team as “Mechanical Operatives”. You would be a valued integral member of the team- ensuring that the machines produce high quality products, run smoothly and at capacity, and are properly maintained.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience
  • Understanding of production processes
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Numerical and mathematical skills in different units of measurement
  • Ability to lift and operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to bend and stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Willing to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary).
Responsibilities
  • Start machinery and adjust accordingly to improve performance.
  • Operate equipment and machinery according to instructions.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform effective maintenance.
  • Perform quality control checks, follow procedures for record keeping, and report issues and updates to management.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of both machinery and workplace.
