Job Description As a Mechanical Technician, you will join our team in Portsmouth to support our activities within the Space sector. You will support mechanical assembly and production activities within a structured engineering environment. Working from clear work instructions, you will use hand tools and standard software packages to complete build and assembly tasks to quality and safety standards. Location: Portsmouth On Site: Full-time Clearance: Clearable Experience Level: Junior to Mid Key Responsibilities: Carry out mechanical assembly using hand tools Follow detailed work instructions and technical documentation Support build, modification, and mechanical fitting activities Use standard computer software (Microsoft Office / Google packages) for documentation and tracking Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams Qualifications Required Skills: Basic mechanical hand skills and experience using hand tools Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately Comfortable using standard computer software packages Good attention to detail and willingness to learn Positive, proactive attitude Required Qualifications: Relevant hands on mechanical experience, or equivalent military experience.
