JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join our Mechanical team. We are a well-established independent garage and tyre business located in Dartington. We offer a wide range of services to both retail and trade customers, including mechanical repairs, MOT testing, servicing, tyre fitting, and puncture repairs. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, professional, and busy team.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician to include diagnostics experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have your own tools and a full, valid driving licence

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

The successful candidate will be responsible for

• Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and failures, implementing effective solutions promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
