Based in Coburg, Victoria, the Mechanical Technician will report into the Production Manager.
As a Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for the effective utilisation and co-ordination of the machinery under your control. This includes ensuring product quality conforms to the Manufacturing Standards & Process Control Plans, equipment performs to production targets ensuring its condition is both mechanical sound and in a safe working state at all times. Mechanical Technicians will be trained to rotate through all the end making facilities at the Coburg plant.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
We are looking for someone that is trade qualified with practical hands-on experience. A Trade Cert as a Fitter/Turner, Toolmaker, or similar is mandatory for this role. You will be required to complete a Mechanical test in your onsite interview to demonstrate your skills.
Although this role requires someone with a trade background you need to be comfortable with the fact that your main responsibilities will involve operating the machines, some days you may only use your trade a small portion of the day.
