We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team and contribute to a variety of industrial projects. In this role, you will work closely with engineers to create accurate 3D models, 2D drawings, and construction packages, ensuring designs meet project requirements and industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented designer with strong technical skills and hands-on experience in mechanical, piping, and HVAC systems. Role Description / Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical design work using 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD Plant 3D, 3D Point Cloud) to develop 3D models and 2D drawings. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to support development of intelligent P&IDs, piping layouts, general arrangements, HVAC, and other mechanical design drawings. Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and construction work packages to support project execution. Ensure designs comply with CAD standards, procedures, and industry best practices. Participate in reviews to ensure design quality, constructability, and adherence to project specifications. Extensive experience in 3D modeling using Autodesk Plant 3D and AutoCAD, including smart P&IDs, Cloudworx, Jetstream 3D Modeling, and Navisworks. Strong background in process piping, pumping, equipment and layout design, HVAC, and building services. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mining projects is an asset. Ability to work from the office 3–4 days per week is preferred. Training / Requirements: Completion of site-specific safety and orientation training prior to attending safety-sensitive sites, including substance testing as required. Qualifications: Recognized Technologist Certification is required. Previous experience in industrial projects is preferred. Health and Dental Benefits. Pension Matching Program.
