WHAT DOES THE ROLE LOOK LIKE?
You will join the engineering team as a Test Rigs Design & Manufacturing control and System Integration area of competence. The role will encompass the design, construction and validation of aeronautical actuation and conditioning test rig systems. The required specialization is in the mechanical and hydraulic field with specific skills in performance simulations and structural analyzes using mathematical models and specific SW tools. Project management skills will also be appreciated.
Your contribution is expected to provide valuable expertise through a rigorous analytical approach and strong engineering practices. As part of the Test Rig Engineering and System Integration group, you will make a key contribution to the design evolution and improvement of our products, enabling the renewal of existing technologies. Testing and System integration activities are a fundamental asset in aeronautics and our department wants to be the excellence.
You will operate in an inclusive and dynamic working environment, in collaboration with the other engineering functions as required by the phase of the program. Within this role you will have the opportunity to interact with an international and multicultural engineering community. Availability to travel for installation, commissioning and assistance activities is often required at end customer.
It is required consolidated competence in the related engineering disciplines, including but not limited to the industrial automation, materials science, stress analysis, design of industrial hydraulic systems, systems architecture and mechatronic knowledge. High quality of the technical content and timely delivery of required outputs are key aspects of the role, as well as a thorough approach and an open mindset attitude.
WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES LOOK LIKE?
Your role is a key contributor to the advancement of the state of the art of our testing and system integration knowledge and to the renewing of the systems in service and assistance. Part of the role will be a thorough and targeted reporting of results and analysis.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?
This is an exciting role within the engineering team, critical to support new test rig design evolutions. It will bring with it the opportunity to be involved in almost all the test rigs aspects designed to test and certify different types of flight equipments.
Solid engineering expertise is the fundamental pillar to support the multidisciplinary aspects of the role.
