Role: Mechanical Trade Engineer - Trainer and Assessor

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a Trainer and Assessor for Mechanical Trade. To be a successful trainer, you will need to have an in-depth knowledge of Mechanical Trade Engineer and a passion for mentioning and passing on your knowledge to the next generations. Inspire and deliver the assigned programs using their extensive knowledge, past experience, and examples guided by comprehensive learning materials. Provide support and feedback to ensure successful completion of programs
As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for the delivery of Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold Certificate III trade qualification in, " Mechanical Engineering”
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or its equivalent - OR willingness willing to obtain if you do not have previous teaching background.
• Must be able to demonstrate vocational competence in their proposed training and assessing area.
• You should possess in-depth knowledge and understanding required of an engineering tradesperson – mechanical within metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries.
• Relevant/Current Industry work experience post qualifications.
• Be able to demonstrate trainer matrix relevant to the course
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong time-management and organisational skills
• Knowledge of current industry standards and practices

· Lead Mechanical training sessions, sharing your practical knowledge and hands-on experience.
· Deliver both theory and practical workshop training
· Conduct relevant tutorial classes, exams and assessments
· Supervise students and provide support as required
· Identify training needs and develop training programs as required

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
• TAE (Preferred)
