ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking to recruit an Mechanical Training Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. This is a senior position, primarily workshop-based, with a key focus on developing and mentoring our current staff — including apprentices , mechanical fitters and tyre technicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the ongoing development of our workshop team through hands-on training and guidance
• Work closely with apprentices to help them progress both in their college coursework and day-to-day mechanical skills
• Assist the company in reviewing and improving its internal training programmes
• Spend time one-on-one with team members to identify areas for improvement and help them reach their full potential
• Complete training-related paperwork and liaise with colleges and training providers as needed
• Support workshop operations while guiding and supervising trainees in a practical setting
