JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechatronic / Robotics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, test and commission robotic and manufacturing systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-performance solutions that integrate mechanics, electronics, software, and control systems.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or equal experience.
  • Proven experience in robotics and mechatronics design, development, and implementation.
  • Familiar with robotic 3D cell design software like Stäubli Robotic Suite, Kuka Sim or RobotDK.
  • Strong knowledge and several years hands-on experience with SolidWorks CAD.
  • Proficiency in designing and working with automation hardware, such as sensors, actuators, linear systems, servo motors and AC motors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent project organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing, including assemblies and part drawings.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate mechanical designs into comprehensive automation solutions.
  • Perform design calculations and analyses to ensure the integrity and functionality of mechanical components.
  • Design pneumatic and hydraulic schematics for automation systems.
  • Communicate with machine shops and distributors, managing quotes, purchase orders, and bill of materials.
  • Design, program, and test robotic systems for industrial automation applications.
  • Perform robot cell simulations with Stäubli Robot Studio to optimize application designs and functionality.
  • Select robotic arm according to project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including schematics, CAD models, control flow diagrams, and operation manuals.
