As we continue to advance our automation capabilities across the business, we’re expanding our manufacturing team in Eswatini with a Mechatronics Engineer. We’re seeking someone ready to explore new technologies and redefine what’s possible through intelligent automation. In this future-focused role, you’ll lead the charge in manufacturing, unlocking and implementing systems that power our progress. Collaborating with teams across the business, you’ll harness technology to redefine our processes and how we make our workwear. The change champion best suited to this role will be responsible for: Leveraging your passion for smarter solutions to develop innovative mechatronic systems that make our workwear production faster, smarter and more efficient. Drawing on your technical expertise to bring together mechanical, electronicl and software components to build, high-performing automated systems. Getting hands-on, troubleshooting and maintaining our existing automation systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborating with production and quality teams to identify and deliver process improvements, turning opportunities into real and practical changes. Using sensor data and analytics to proactively prevent downtime through predictive maintenance. Leading and guiding with strong emotional intelligence, cultivating an engaged, high-performing team. Responsibly leading with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all systems meet safety and industry standards. Skills and qualifications required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechatronics or automation engineering, preferably in garment or textile manufacturing. Proficiency in PLC programming, CAD software and industrial robotics. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean principles.
