JOB OVERVIEW

The Mechatronics Engineer shall manage the integration of electronics hardware and software on all RanMarine products. This includes the design and development of circuits, PCBs, embedded software, and to some extent hardware design. The candidate must demonstrate problem solving skills, flexibility and have an eye for details as well as be able to work well in a team and with external parties. Experience in marine robotics and workshop tools is an asset.

• 40 hours per week (full-time), 25 days leave, holiday pay
• 12 month contract

QUALIFICATIONS

• HBO Electronics, Embedded Systems or Robotics Engineering (or equivalent)
• 3+ years experience in related field
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands

• Electrical circuit design
• PCB design
• C++, Rust, Python, ROS(2)
• Git, Docker, Linux
• Communication protocols (CAN, UART, PWM, etc.)
• Debugging with Oscilloscope, voltmeters, etc
• Embedded systems, e.g. Teensy / Arduino
• Problem solving and “get things done” mentality
• English speaking and communication is a must

• Manage the electromechanical aspects of various projects
• Develop code and software systems for products
• Test product function and iterate to meet requirements
