JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a junior mechanical/mechatronics engineer or designer to join us on working on CNC machines, accessories, and parts. This role involves tasks such as assisting with the development and improvement of products, creating and optimizing manufacturing processes with jigs and methods, communicating and working with customers, and more.

Responsibilities include

• Prototyping using tools such as laser cutters, CNC machines, 3D printers
• Using CAD, CAM, FEA, and other related software
• Working with and supporting customers with technical issues to improve design and processes
• Testing, QA, reporting and documentation
• Product management and planning

We are looking for candidates with experience with

• Onshape or other similar CAD software
• GD&T
• Designing for manufacture
• Manufacturing and production experience
• Rapid prototyping tools
• General electronics and wiring knowledge

Information about the position

• Full-time, permanent, 40 hours a week with flexible hours
• Salary range $50,000-75,000/year
