FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: Responsible for identifying, analyzing and rectifying inaccuracies with billing and reimbursement specific to Third Party Payors that contract with Froedtert Hospital. Documents trends and disseminates information to department heads, medical staff, and contracting staff with the goals of sending out compliant, accurate bills and maximizing hospital reimbursement per the terms of the agreements. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Previous experience as a practicing nurse in a healthcare institution and dealing with third party payers is required. Experience in a healthcare institution auditing third party reimbursement, knowledge of current Federal, State, and Local billing and coding regulations is required. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required. Compensation, Benefits & Perks at Froedtert Health Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $24.45 - $41.08. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
