Description Med/Surg - Health Care Tech Department: Nursing - Med/Surg Status Hours: Contingent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Summary: Join our dedicated nursing team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, you will perform clerical services for nursing units and assist with various patient care activities under the direction of a registered nurse. You will support patients in all age groups, contributing to their comfort and recovery. Key Responsibilities: Collect data through observation and use of instrumentation, reporting findings to the RN. Assist patients with activities of daily living. Support clinical staff with procedures as appropriate. Perform clerical tasks to ensure smooth unit operations. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements: CNA or STNA certification. Enrollment in an accredited school of nursing with at least one semester of clinical rotation completed. Medical Assistant certification. EMT licensure. Previous relevant work experience demonstrating the skills required for the role. Additional Requirements: Current CPR certification – BLS for healthcare providers.
