Description We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse to support inpatient services at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a full-time, 1-year contract offering consistent scheduling, full benefits, and the opportunity to care for our nation’s Veterans in a mission-driven environment. This role is ideal for RNs looking for a stable, structured setting with strong team support and predictable workflows. Position Highlights Contract Dates: 6/1/2026 – 5/31/2027 Extension Opportunities Available $60/hour (W2) Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Primarily 12-hour shifts (some 8 & 10-hour options available) Day and Night Shift Availability Inpatient Med-Surg setting within a federal VA Medical Center Floating within Med-Surg service lines, including oncology, telemetry/acute care, neuro rehab, and PCU Requirements Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) BLS Certification (AHA preferred) Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience Strong inpatient clinical skills and documentation accuracy

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient medical-surgical nursing care to veterans within a federal VA Medical Center. Responsibilities include floating across various service lines such as oncology, telemetry, and neuro rehabilitation.
