The Registered Nurse position is part of the Med/Surg Department and is a full-time role working approximately 72 hours per two-week pay period, primarily on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The schedule may include a combination of 12- and 8-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation required. We’re excited to offer a $6,000 sign-on bonus for this position. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and currently licensed in the State of Ohio ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification required Preference given to candidates with two or more years of hospital experience Strong initiative, professionalism, and positive communication skills Independent thinker and customer service leader Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care based in Med/Surg, with potential assignments in other departments Systematically assess patient needs, plan and deliver care, coordinate with other staff, and evaluate outcomes Facilitate collaboration across disciplines to provide a seamless approach to care delivery Promote patient advocacy, safety, and improved health outcomes Adhere to all standards of nursing practice and promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments Wyandot Memorial Hospital is a proud, independent community hospital serving Upper Sandusky and the surrounding region since 1950.
