Responsibilities

JOIN OUR PURPOSE - FEEDING THE FUTURE

Nutreco is a member of the SHV family, and we are committed to ‘Feeding the Future’ through sustainable and innovative practices. Nutreco has two business lines: Skretting is a leading global provider of innovative aquafeed solutions, revolutionizing aquaculture for a sustainable future. Trouw Nutrition specializes in animal nutrition and is committed to advancing livestock health and productivity through cutting-edge solutions.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Officer for our Putten location. You will be responsible for managing the flow of products. This means that you will coordinate the logistics process between suppliers, factories, warehouse and customers. As Nutreco is an international company with a multifaceted customer base, this includes being involved in the import and export of products.
An important part of your job is administrative in nature. However, you will also have a lot of contact with internal and external stakeholders. Think of internal customers, customer care and the purchasing & planning department. The purpose of these contacts is to supply the customer correctly and on time. It is important to mention that these are relatively short-term deliveries in a dynamic environment.
As a Supply Chain Officer, you will be part of an enthusiastic team of four colleagues. Although you work in a team, you take on your tasks independently and therefore have a lot of responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You are responsible for the operational set-up of the product flow, including order processing, purchasing, distribution/transportation and warehouse management.
  • You are concerned with cost control and associated export permits and certifications.
  • Monitoring the product flow from A to Z.

EXPECTATION FROM ROLE:

  • You are independent, hands-on and accurate. You are able to work independently but you are also a team player who knows how to make ‘real’ connections with other departments as well as external stakeholders. Think of customers, transporters and producers.
  • You are used to working in a dynamic environment and keep a cool head when asked to switch between different activities. You stand your ground in this respect.
  • Important additions to this are our core values: Trust, Curiosity, Inclusivity, Integrity and Passion. Five core values that you must naturally possess to fit within our culture.
