Description General Purpose of Job Provide excellent customer service to the hospital, hospitals clients and our patients as the designated facility(s) Account Manager. This person will also be performing all servicing functions for the Client Portfolio. Including but not limited to: • Processing Hospital Accounts into Bad Debt • Portfolio Reconciliation • Account Error Management • Escalation Protocol(s) • Support Follow Up Possess strong analytical & critical thinking skills, experience in account monitoring/maintenance, and a deep understanding of business processes for Medfinancial and the unique aspects of each client under ownership. Showcase specialized & advanced knowledge in a specific client base and provides that expertise to others within the Medfinancial organization. Continue to develop skills through research, study, and experience. Duties and Responsibilities (Daily and Monthly) • Support phone call volume. • Support training efforts for new employees as needed for the client(s) under management. • Answer questions from staff and provide guidance and feedback. • Maintain open lines of client communication and provide support as needed. • Devise ways to optimize procedures. • Keep management informed on issues and problems, while offering solutions. • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. • Responsible for the security of workstation and work area regarding the confidentiality of the data and the systems. • Maintain good attendance and punctuality. • Maintain acceptable / proper dress and behavior. • Maintain positive attitude under stress. • All employees are expected to represent the company and its interests in a positive, professional manner inside and outside of the corporate environment. • Work and communicate in a team environment. • Type data into required systems with both speed and accuracy. • Meet Medfinancial goals weekly, biweekly, & monthly. • Maintain department standards and achieve goals. • Maintain confidentiality. • Maintain professional and productive work environment. • Create and promote teamwork environment while recognizing individual accomplishments. o Assist with company meetings/ client meetings. • Effective time management & organizational abilities – complete assigned projects in a timely manner • Complete and submit weekly status brief to supervisor management. o Provide weekly updates of group performance to supervisor/management. • Support departmental scheduling needs. • Other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities
