JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce initiatives. This position requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

The Winnipeg Kinsmen have been proudly serving our community for 100 years. Through initiatives like Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo, the Kin Kar Raffle, and numerous charitable projects, we raise funds to support causes across Manitoba. We are looking for a creative and organized Communications & Marketing Coordinator to help amplify our impact, engage our community, and grow awareness of our events and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
· 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media management.
· Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in social media platforms, website management, and digital marketing tools.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· A valid class 5 driver’s license.
· Passion for community service and interest in charitable initiatives is an asset.

Responsibilities

· Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote initiatives and events.
· Manage social media channels, website content, and email campaigns.
· Create engaging content for print, digital, and multimedia platforms.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support fundraising and community outreach.
· Attend a variety of event activities during and after business hours when required.
