Description

The Media, Effectiveness & Insights team at the Center of Expertise (CoE) Brand, Marketing & Communications is looking for a Media Buying Expert to drive media operations & planning advise and execution with agencies related to integrated campaigns.

Within the Center of Expertise, you work together with the other communication and brand specialists on our main objective sustainable growth, through a consistent and lively brand & business approach.
The team
As Media Buying Expert you’ll join the Media, Effectiveness & Insights team and report into the Head of Media, Effectiveness & Insights. The team consists of 1 lead and 7 experts, of which 4 media experts, 1 data analytics expert and 2 data insights experts.
Roles and responsibilities
You will be responsible for media operations & planning advise and execution with agencies related to integrated campaigns that contribute to our brand and business objectives.
Support running all the media buying activities in line with the marketing objectives.
Support management of the media buying agency and their performance as a central relationship holder while connecting the business (i.e digital sales PI, BuBa, Priba, etc).
Support management of the relationships and running a quarterly business review with big media platforms locally (Google, Meta, TikTok etc.).
Running the day-to-day operations of the big media platforms locally.
In your work you use data insights from e.g. attribution and media effectiveness to make well balanced choices in marketing. You maintain the stakeholder field and build your own network of stakeholders
How to succeed
You are a versatile, analytic and pragmatic marketing professional with a passion for creativity, thinking and doing.
You have proven experience in, and affinity with, advising and implementing marketing communication plans and campaigns.
You can independently manage and execute projects.
You are not afraid of the unpredictability of work and get energy from the variety of work.
You help building the ING brand with creative (digital) marketing concepts and continuous optimalisation of our client’s customer journey experience. You develop full funnel campaigns in cooperation with our agencies, with elements like social media, influencers, TV, radio, (D)OOH, SEA/SEO and display.
You maintain contacts with our media, creative & research agencies and with strategic media partners like Google and TikTok on operational level.
You contribute to the implementation of ING’s brand & business strategy – a consistent approach that motivates our people and our customers.
You contribute to full-funnel campaigns in combination with ‘always on’ performance and content (earned, owned and paid) layers. You work closely with colleagues from the business to contribute to both the commercial and brand objectives.
Who are you?
An education in Marketing or Communications at HBO or University level.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing and/or advertising/communications.
Experience in working with various, external stakeholders.
Strong multitasking, accuracy and prioritising skills in a fast paced environment.
Proven experience of developing and implementing full funnel marketing and a track record to deliver on ROAS (Marketing Mix Modelling).
Ability to work with Adobe suite and Google Marketing Platform.
Extensive knowledge of the Dutch media, publisher & platform landscape.
An analytical and data-driven attitude.
Excellent language skills in Dutch and English.
