Title: Media Coordinator
Location: NYC
Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Tues – Thur and Remote on Mon and Fri)
Length of Contract: 1 year
Hours/Wk: 40 hrs/wk
Hourly rate: $30/hr

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience in media planning, buying, or sales with knowledge of broadcast, digital, social and out of home preferred
  • Must be expert in excel and proficient in PowerPoint
  • Experience with Wide Orbit, Donovan, Sales Force, Op1, Freewheel and media research tools, broadcast and/or digital sales systems
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional communication, project management and presentation skills
  • Clear, concise, objective and professional written and verbal communicator
  • Superior organizational skills – must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and handle projects independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

The Coordinator is part of a team of enthusiastic media professionals. This role will support all sales planning activity across the local portfolio. This includes cross-team communication and education with Integrated Sales Planners, Business Development Directors, Holding Company Account Managers, and national partners to ensure that all client needs are met and all planning and post-sale is tracked and delivered. As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist Integrated Planning team with implementation and tracking of all Olympic and World Cup campaigns along with inventory, revenue, and delivery analysis.
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of generic cross-platform media plans for Olympics, World Cup, and Sports Tentpoles (including NFL, Super Bowl, and NBA) based on market costs, available inventory, and approved products
  • Support with developing and executing high-level RFPs and strategic marketing/cross platform media proposals and sponsorships across the portfolio (containing owned stations and affiliates, Regional Sports Networks, National Diginet Cable, targeted digital assets, OTT, streaming service, and social platforms) to meet advertiser objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with direct client partners during pre-sale and post-sale by communicating campaign deliveries and post buy analysis
  • Liaison with research, strategy, production, AdOps, editorial, and finance teams
  • Complete additional projects as directed including project management, content creation, strategic planning, and tentpole event activation (including Olympics, Super Bowl, World Cup, Thanksgiving Parade, Award Shows, etc).
  • Assist in the coordination of sales marketing materials
