Description
1. Performing Manual QCs Conduct full or spot checks on video content to identify: Technical faults: aspect ratio, audio sync, missing frames, glitches, field order, subtitle sync, etc. Editorial faults: incorrect subtitles, missing translations, incorrect content, or on-screen errors. Style-guide non-compliance: ensure adherence to customer broadcast specifications. Communicate findings clearly and document all decisions. Ensure QC reviews are completed in Due Date order (or as requested) with high accuracy. 2. Reviewing Auto QC Reports Analyze automated QC reports to verify and classify detected faults. Determine whether issues warrant rejection, escalation, or acceptance. Log findings and reasoning in detail for audit purposes. Ensure QC reviews are completed in Due Date order (or as requested) with high accuracy. 3. Logging Metadata and Points of Interest Accurately record metadata (e.g., aspect ratio, color, audio layout, language) and points of interest (e.g., recaps, title sequences, advert break candidates). Identify suitable Advert break locations as per client requirements. Maintain organized and consistent metadata for catalogue accuracy. Shift Pattern: May include late shifts (up to 11 PM) and weekend work. Prior experience in broadcast or media operations. Ability to make informed decisions on QC outcomes. Understanding of video codecs, containers, and transcoding workflows. Basic familiarity with content management systems (CMS). Exposure to multilingual media content and subtitle validation workflows. Agile ways of working Good Communication Skill. Proficiency with the English Language Flexibility to work in different time zones Must have a positive approach to change, the ability to understand other cultures and the ability to adapt to, benefit from and respect cultural differences. Eagerness to embrace recent technologies and a drive for continuous learning. 4-7 Years relevant experience in IT Industry with a bachelor's degree.
