Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Media Manager with expertise in both B2B and B2C environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of media relations at local, regional and national levels.
You will have a highly collaborative working style and be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment, and who is as comfortable co-creating media and thought leadership positioning strategies and plans, as they are in rolling up their sleeves and producing and delivering the requisite content that drives the required reputational outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with the company’s goals and values.
  • Manage media relations, including building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets.
  • Produce and distribute traditional and social media releases and copy.
  • Work with the STARK UK Communications Director and business representatives on issues and crisis management, thought leadership, industry engagement, and appropriate external affairs.
  • Work with and deputise for the STARK UK Communications Director on issues and crisis management, ensuring highly effective internal as well as external stakeholder management.
  • Enhance the company’s public image through strategic media engagements and community partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyse media metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
  • Plan and oversee media-related events, ensuring seamless execution and impactful delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Channels and Content team and also Marketing from an editorial planning and production standpoint.
