Description

We are seeking a Media Relations and Content Associate to join our dynamic team. This Associate will be pivotal in shaping and executing Pogust Goodhead’s external communications strategy, building relationships with key media outlets, and creating compelling content that resonates with stakeholders and the public.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in media relations, journalism, or communications, ideally within a legal, advocacy, or corporate affairs environment
  • Strong existing relationships with journalists and media outlets.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex legal and policy issues into clear, compelling content.
  • Experience managing social media channels and creating multimedia content.
  • Knowledge of media monitoring tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  • Experience in crisis communications or reputation management.
  • Familiarity with advocacy campaigns and grassroots mobilization.
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape, particularly in environmental, social, or consumer rights issues.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and acting as a trusted advisor.
