We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Media Relations Coordinator and Virtua
l Event
Moderator to join our media team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about
communications, digital engagement, and the coordination of live
virtual events. The successful

What will your workweek consist of?
-

Coordinate and moderate virtual corporate presentations in a high-tech studio.
Management of the public company will be presenting their stor
y,
and you will be
moderating the event live. (Coordinate with speakers, troubleshoot tech issues, and
ensure smooth delivery)
-

Support media client management on a client-to-client basis, ensuring tail
ored
communication strategies, consistent follow-ups, and seamless coordination with each
account’s unique needs.

Dissemination of our client’s news releases to our database.
-

Preparation and dissemination of evites and reminders of corporate presentations.
-

Manage, edit and upload website content.
-

Manage, populate, curate and monitor content for social media accounts such as
LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts.

Database management; searching and entering data.

Media monitoring (News papers, magazines, business publications, vario
us search
engines such as Meltwater)

Various administrative tasks including but not limited to creat
ing a
nd updatin
g various
reports, lists, and documents.

Requirements for the position

Bachelor’s
degree
in
a
relate
d
field
such
as
marketing,
communica
tions,
media
studies,
marketing,
public
relatio
ns
or
journalism. Studies
in
finance
and/
or
economics
could
also
be aligned with our expectations.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
-

Bilingual- English (100%), French (an asset)
