O’land Stations is a mission-driven environmental tech company focused on reducing single-use plastic waste by deploying smart digital water refill stations in high-traffic venues and events. Each station features a prime branding opportunity and offers add-on digital marketing such as a built-in digital screen, offering brands a unique opportunity to advertise while aligning with sustainability values. Our existing clients include Live Nation, Brita, and major festivals, sporting events & venues across Canada & the US.
We’re now expanding into strategic long-term locations such as airports, malls, hotels, transit hubs, and sports arenas—and we’re looking for a sharp, motivated Media Sales Executive to help us scale this next phase.

QUALIFICATIONS:


    • 4–7 years of experience in media sales, DOOH, advertising partnerships, or sponsorship development.


      • Proven ability to close - deals and manage long-term client relationships.


        • Strong network of contacts in Toronto’s advertising, agency, or real estate sectors (especially in retail, transit, or entertainment).


          • Passion for sustainability, social impact, and disruptive media technologies.


            • Self-starter, goal-oriented, and highly autonomous.


              • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


                • Previous experience with programmatic or digital signage advertising is a strong asset.

                Responsibilities

                ROLE OVERVIEW:

                As our Media Sales Executive, you’ll lead O’land’s efforts to secure digital ad placement partnerships in permanent, high-traffic public venues across Greater Toronto and surrounding regions). You’ll be responsible for building and closing advertising deals with brands, agencies, and sponsors—focusing on sustainable and experiential marketing campaigns.
                You will play a key role in generating a minimum of $700,000 in annual revenue, while placing O’land’s refill stations in front of the right audiences. A high-commission structure rewards high performers.

                KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


                  • Identify and secure media buyers, brand sponsors, and advertising agencies seeking digital out-of-home (DOOH) placements.


                    • Establish partnerships with property owners and venue operators (e.g. malls, airports, arenas, universities) to secure free or low-cost station placements in exchange for environmental value and traffic engagement.


                      • Create and negotiate - advertising and placement contracts (ie interested venues & locations: Ex Budweiser Stage, Rogers Stadium, etc.).


                        • Build and manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools and performance tracking.


                          • Collaborate with the operations team to align on station placement feasibility and with marketing for brand alignment.


                            • Maintain deep knowledge of the Toronto media market and DOOH trends.


                              • Represent O’land at relevant industry events and networking functions.
