Position Summary Tampa Bay Newspapers Inc. publishes award-winning weekly newspapers serving Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando, and Hillsborough counties. As an independent affiliate of the Tampa Bay Times, our sales team represents both Tampa Bay Newspapers products and select Tampa Bay Times products, including tbt Weekend and Bay Magazine. We also provide ongoing digital training and offer a full suite of digital advertising solutions to help our clients grow.   Tampa Bay Newspapers is seeking a full-time Media Sales Representative to drive print and digital advertising growth in Pinellas County. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing an existing book of accounts, and building strong partnerships within the local business community.   The ideal candidate is motivated, relationship-driven, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment — spending time daily in their geographic territory while utilizing home and office workspaces as needed.   Responsibilities * Identify, pursue, and close new print and digital advertising opportunities * Manage and grow a defined book of business within Pinellas County * Develop strategic marketing programs tailored to client needs * Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners and decision-makers * Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline * Collaborate with internal teams to execute effective advertising campaigns * Meet or exceed revenue goals and market growth objectives   Required Skills & Qualifications * Prior media sales experience preferred but not required * Strong communication and presentation skills * Ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams * Experience working with CRM software * Strong time management and organizational skills * Valid driver’s license required
