About the Role SNY is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Media Services Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our media infrastructure. This role is integral to the management, organization, and distribution of video assets across SNY's newsroom and production environments. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of broadcast media workflows and digital asset management. This role reports to the Director, Post Production. What you will do * Organize and send content from interplay to the archive in assigned folders and partner with newsroom staff to ensure the accurate storage and identification of media assets, through a standardized library identification and logging system to support efficient content retrieval. * Log and put locators on clips with metadata for easy searching * Help oversee and train interns * Be able to delete media with standardized protocols * Uploading / Downloading melts via Aspera, Signiant, Media Shuttle, and Drop Box. * Support end-to-end media workflows including ingestion, distribution, and restoration of video assets, while troubleshooting routine newsroom video issues to minimize disruption to production operations. What you will bring: * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required * Knowledge of Avid interplay and CloudUX * Ability to communicate well with others * Basic knowledge of ingesting content from files, camera cards and tape formats. * Knowledge of NY sports and local sports current events. * Must have working knowledge of Avid Interplay, Media composer and Cloud UX * Willingness to work non-traditional business days/hours * Excellent attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communications skills required * Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment * Experience using Aspera, Signiant, or other media downloading site is a plus. * Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities This role is in office at our office 4 days per week at 4 World Trade Center. Must be flexible with the ability to potentially work on weekends.  
Responsibilities
The Media Services Coordinator manages, organizes, and distributes video assets across the newsroom and production environments. They are responsible for logging metadata, overseeing media storage, and supporting end-to-end workflows including ingestion and distribution.
