Do work those matters. This role sits within the Media Paid & Owned Centre of Excellence in Marketing & Corporate Affairs and reports to the Executive Manager, Media Planning. You’ll support the development and delivery of paid media plans that align with CBA’s marketing strategy and business objectives. You will have responsibility for: Monitoring and ensuring adherence to established channel principles. Developing, guiding, and advising on media plans for marketing initiatives. Your key responsibilities Support the development of media channel plans and investment recommendations across platforms. Ensure media plans adhere to established channel principles and best practices. Collaborate with marketing managers to develop clear and comprehensive briefs for agency partners. Work closely with media agencies to ensure high-quality planning and execution, and contribute to value creation across campaigns. Manage media plan approvals and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment. Partner with agencies to identify first-to-market opportunities and leverage data for campaign optimisation. Monitor campaign delivery, including channel pacing and tracking, to ensure plans meet agreed objectives. Your experience and qualifications 4–6 years’ experience in media planning, preferably within an agency or in-house marketing team. Solid understanding of the media landscape and emerging trends. Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to contribute to strategic media planning and translate business objectives into actionable plans. Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
