THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a Media Specialist to support and grow NZME’s commercial presence across the Waikato region. You’ll take charge of a portfolio of sophisticated, high‑value customers, delivering innovative, audience‑driven advertising solutions that strengthen partnerships, drive revenue, and elevate NZME’s profile locally. With access to one of New Zealand’s most diverse media portfolios—including radio, digital, print, and events—you’ll design campaigns that truly surprise, delight, and deliver. HOW YOU’LL DO IT Account Management & Growth: • Develop dynamic multi‑media solutions across NZME’s full product suite • Grow key Waikato accounts year‑on‑year and meet commercial targets • Spot and convert new business development opportunities • Support regional client events, activations, and partnerships Self‑Management: • Manage your business pipeline, reporting, and forecasting with accuracy • Use CRM effectively and comply with NZME commercial processes • Bring self‑motivation, drive, and a passion for exceeding targets Planning & Organisation: • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with competing deadlines • Contribute meaningfully in content and planning meetings • Communicate openly and collaboratively with the wider NZME team Compliance: • Model NZME’s values and uphold organisational policies • Prioritise health, safety, and wellbeing for yourself and others ABOUT YOU You’ll be recognised for your expertise in managing high‑value customers and delivering exceptional multi‑media campaigns.
