JOB OVERVIEW

Our film set is seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our on set emergency response team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in for the cast and crew and responding to any emergencies. This role requires a personable candidate, attention to detail, previous paramedic experience, the ability to perform under pressure in various situations.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous paramedic experience is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Previous on set experience is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication medical director.
  • Experience with medication administration is crucial for delivering appropriate patient care during emergencies.
  • access to a vehicle is required to travel to different set locations.
    Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 3 months
    Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 60 – 65 per week

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls on a walkie and assess the situation to determine the necessary course of action.
  • Provide immediate medical care to patients, as needed.
  • Administer OTC medications and manage.
  • Communicate effectively with patients.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately and thoroughly in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Maintain confidentiality of production, scripts and cast and crew.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with safety standards, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
