Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is a large inner-city skilled nursing (medical) facility. We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health population. Many of them were previously homeless.
Job Description
What you will do in this role: When you are a patient, finances should be the last thing on your mind. You will work closely with patients, and the facility and regional accounts receivables team. The AR projects will include back-end collections and billing for Public Aide, Medicaid, Medicare and managed care accounts for our skilled nursing facility. One moment you are managing the patient trust fund, the next you’re setting up payment schedules for a family and the next you could be helping a patient apply for Medicaid. It’s a busy day here!

This is NOT a remote / ‘work from home’ position. You will be expected to work full time within our center, located in the Bronzeville park neighborhood of Chicago.

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
