Description BKG Enterprises is seeking a Medicaid Program Manager to assist the Medicaid Network Strategy Director in meeting the needs of the health plan and provider networking team. This provider-facing role ensures readiness and compliance with Medicaid programs and involves occasional provider relations and contracting activities to support the strategic goals of the Medicaid network. Salary: $45.00-$55.00/hr. Work Environment: The Medicaid Program Manager position may involve a mix of on-site and remote working environments based on the organization’s policies and the specific requirements of the job. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Medicaid Network Strategy Director in implementing Medicaid network strategies. Ensure readiness requirements for Medicaid programs are met. Monitor and ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations and policies. Serve as a primary point of contact for providers on program-related issues. Facilitate the resolution of provider issues related to program compliance and readiness. Conduct occasional contracting and provider relations activities as needed. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses to provider inquiries. Prepare and analyze reports related to program performance and compliance. Support the training and education of providers on Medicaid program changes and requirements. Requirements Requires a Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare program management, specifically in Medicaid, or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background. Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Experience in provider-facing roles and occasional contracting activities.
Responsibilities
