We are currently seeking a full-time MEDICAID SPECIALIST.

Responsibilities:

• Medicaid approval/certification
• Medicaid application process, meeting with families and collecting required paperwork.
• Review Medicaid Pending cases with Department of Social Services and/or Medicaid caseworker. Advise Business Office Manager on problem cases.
• Follow-up on requests by the Dept. of Social Services for recertification and approval.
• Contact Medicaid with problems of recertification and budget determinations.
• Prepare and submit new Medicaid applications.

Other functions:
Perform other business office functions as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Business preferred. Associate’s degree required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. One year of administrative office experience in health care environment a plus. Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.
