St John of God Murdoch currently have permanent full-time, part-time and a number of casual positions available. Applicants will continue to be considered for future positions as they arise across various wards over the next six months.

The Position

• Coordinate and manage patient admissions, theatre bookings and associated documentation.
• Validate admission forms, consents, payments and patient information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct health fund eligibility checks and obtain quotations for uninsured or uncovered patients.
• Schedule and monitor Pre-Admission Clinic requirements and ensure all required documentation is completed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients throughout their admissions journey.
• Assist patients with admission enquiries, online forms and registration processes via phone, online chat and in person.
• Welcome and support patients on the day of admission, including patient identification, paperwork completion and liaison with clinical teams.
• Deliver professional reception and switchboard services, ensuring a positive experience for patients, visitors and caregivers.

You will bring strong customer service, communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, a sound understanding of private hospital admissions processes, and experience using MS Office and webPAS.

We can offer you

• Salary: $71,352 to $77,022 per annum (pro rata for part-time) plus 12% superannuation 
• Casual Hourly Rate: $44.99 to $48.57 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
