Description

Busy ophthalmology practice in Belleville looking for a medical admin position as well cross train in other areas of the office. Previous experience is an asset but not necessary, as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will take great pride in presenting himself or herself in the best possible manner as an ambassador for the practice. Candidates will need to establish a personal relationship with patients, as being the first point of contact to the patients coming into the office. The ideal candidate must be comfortable speaking with patients in a friendly manner while educating them on the procedure, practice and working towards conversions on the phone & in person.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFIERS:

The ideal candidate would possess some of the following qualifications:

  • Medical Office Administration certificate or equivalent in work experience of 1-2 years in the field.
  • Medical Office Admin school Diploma preferred but not required, as we will train the right candidate.
  • Ability to multi-task and interact with diverse clients with compassion, sensitivity, and support.
  • Sound computer and documentation (computer-based) skills with Electronic Medical Record systems (OSCAR) and knowledge of Microsoft Office capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
