YOU ARE OUR SCIENTIFIC AMBASSADOR TO THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY

We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Advisor with a strong background in immunology and experience or capabilities to operate in the pharmaceutical industry. You excel in non-promotional peer to peer communication with medical community and in building networks. You have a strong focus on patients’ and stakeholders’ needs, which is a prerequisite for success in our Company. Combining a strong passion for science with business acumen, you easily communicate with various stakeholders. You are goal-oriented and have a strong desire to drive and reach results while maintaining the high ethical standards is known and respected for. You take ownership of strategic medical planning and exemplify executional excellence. You show medical leadership in outlining and shaping the therapy area strategy to drive affiliate-level aligned priorities and goals.
As a person, you have the flexibility and ability to adapt and excel in a rapidly evolving environment, and your people skills are equally impressive. You plan your work independently, and you are known for your commitment to deliver results. You want to develop your professional skills and contribute to the evolving Medical Affairs Leadership. Company is investing strongly in Immunology. In addition to this, product portfolio is also expanding to other therapy areas. You will primarily focus on the Immunology pipeline but we expect that you have capability and readiness to take over other therapy areas as our portfolio diversifies. Experience from several therapy areas or proven capability to adapt in changing product portfolio is a strong advantage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our Company, develop and take forward Medical Affairs leadership and bring your authentic self to the versatility of company people.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (MD, PhD, or PharmD).
  • Experience or capabilities to operate in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in Medical Affairs or related remit. Experience in Immunology, or successful career in other therapy areas are seen as an advantage.
  • Understanding the evolving Healthcare landscape
  • Capabilities and willingness to independently and proactively show leadership in the development and implementation of local Medical Strategy to advance Immunology Pipeline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and in matrix organization
  • Willingness to adapt and contribute to the development of ways of working in the Medical Affairs team

Responsibilities
  • You engage with scientific leaders and key decision-makers to communicate scientific and clinical information, identify the opportunities and challenges to facilitate access to our innovative medicines and increase health in the evolving healthcare.
  • You provide medical expertise and support in Immunology pipeline both external and internal stakeholders.
  • You contribute to the internal stakeholder collaboration with medical leadership to drive strategic prioritisation, and effective alignment and integration of company strategies.
  • You participate in the development of Medical Affairs leadership culture, fostering collaboration & well-being, innovation, and strategic prioritisation.
  • Approximately 20-40% of your time will be spent travelling.
  • You commit to Company Compliance, local laws and regulations
