Medical Affairs Advancement Architect The USMA Advancement Architect will serve as a catalyst for change, equipping the Medical Affairs team with the skills and competencies necessary to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment, while also aligning their professional growth with the strategic vision of the organization. This person is a strategic leader responsible for driving the development and implementation of a performance-oriented culture within the organization. The Advancement Architect role is critical in shaping the professional landscape of the Medical Affairs team by creating a framework that not only enhances individual skills but also aligns team capabilities with the overarching goals of the organization. In this position, the Advancement Architect will work closely with senior leadership to identify key competencies required for success in the rapidly evolving healthcare environment. By leveraging insights from industry trends, employee feedback, and organizational objectives, the architect will design and manage career development programs that foster continuous learning, professional growth, and employee engagement. Additionally, the USMA Advancement Architect will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of accountability and high performance. By implementing robust performance management systems and fostering open communication, the architect will ensure that team members receive constructive feedback and recognition for their contributions. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities of this role, US Medical Affairs Advancement Architect, are to: Design and implement comprehensive career advancement programs tailored to the needs of USMA colleagues. Assess current career pathways and identify opportunities for improvement, expansion and implementation. Implement programs for skill enhancement, leadership development, growth and knowledge sharing. Create performance evaluation frameworks Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of career development resources, including training materials, workshops, and external courses. Conduct regular assessments and surveys to gather feedback from team members on the effectiveness of career development programs. Collaborate with external consultants and trainers to bring in specialized expertise and training programs. Monitor industry trends and best practices in career development and incorporate them into USMA's programs. Establish a USMA mentorship strategy to support colleagues with their professional growth and development. Ensure that all career development initiatives align with the overall strategic goals of the organization. Track and report on the progress and outcomes of career development programs to senior leadership. Prepare reports for leadership that highlight the impact of career advancement initiatives on team performance and engagement. WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience in Healthcare Leadership, Organizational Development, or a related field. Skilled in analyzing performance metrics and feedback to refine and improve development programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to understand their vision and align programs accordingly. Expertise in identifying and addressing critical staffing and skill needs, driving strategic workforce planning and ensuring optimal resource allocation Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple development programs simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time Establish channels for continuous feedback to aid in establishing an accountability culture within USMA. Foster a performance and development culture by leading change initiatives within the organization. Demonstrate an understanding of the medical affairs landscape, including regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices relevant to career development in this field. Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $124,864 - $187,297. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
