Description

The Medical Aide is responsible for assisting the physician with minor medical procedures, ensuring patients are escorted to examining rooms safely, and ensuring physician offices are clean and equipped for patient exams and procedures. In this role, you will rotate between Front Reception, the ECG and ENT departments, and serve as a medical assistant to our Family Doctors, supporting both administrative and clinical functions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean examination rooms, including disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies
  • Assist with patient flow: call patients (in person and over the intercom), escort to rooms, and support during exams
  • Set up and sterilize medical equipment and instruments
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as ECG testing and recording height, weight, and blood pressure for adults and children
  • Provide reception coverage and administrative support as needed
  • Follow health and safety protocols when handling body fluids and medical equipment
  • Work collaboratively with family physicians and respond to various clinical support needs
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
