MEDICAL & ASSESSMENTS TEAM COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION The Medical & Assessments Team Coordinator provides high-level administrative and clinical coordination support, serving as a key liaison between patients, medical providers, internal staff, and external partners. This role oversees clinical and assessment operations and manages both medical providers and a team of Assessors responsible for conducting mental health and child/family assessments. The ideal candidate brings experience in clinical coordination and assessment review (mental health, trauma, DFCS-related), along with strong team leadership, organizational, and communication skills. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate patient care, including scheduling services and managing crisis call communications * Serve as a primary point of contact for external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care * Coordinate with medical providers to ensure appropriate psychiatric/medical services, documentation, and follow-up care * Oversee and support both medical providers and a team of Assessors, ensuring quality service delivery and timely completion of assessments * Maintain and manage scheduling systems, Excel trackers, and data reporting tools * Handle prescription-related communications with pharmacies and ensure accurate documentation, including uploading medical records and consent forms * Monitor and track key psychological and psychiatric service metrics; prepare and deliver weekly reports * Schedule clients for psychological and psychiatric services * Provide timely updates to caseworkers, school personnel, and other stakeholders regarding referral status and attendance * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and documentation requirements * Review & approve new referrals * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications * Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (Required) * Associate licensure in Georgia (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT) strongly (Preferred) * Demonstrated experience in conducting and/or reviewing assessments (mental health, trauma, DFCS-related) * Experience managing or supervising clinical teams, including medical providers and/or Assessors (Preferred)  * Knowledge of medical office operations, behavioral health services, and social service systems * Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively * High level of accuracy, reliability, and accountability * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with data tracking/reporting systems * Cultural competence and demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
