Responsibilities The Medical Assistant 2 (MA2) performs medical or technical procedures within a Medical Assistant's scope of practice and under direction of the physician(s), assists the medical staff and physician(s) in providing clinical and administrative support throughout the medical office and provides guidance/mentorship to the practice's other Medical Assistants. Qualifications Education and Experience High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California required 1 year of experience in the medical field required Previous experience in giving injections required OBGYN preferred Practice hours are Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts Licenses and Certifications BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required Disclaimers • Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.• If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
