Description Community Health Centers of America is seeking a full-time Administrative Medical Assistant to join our team at the Salida Administrative Office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical services by managing scheduling, insurance eligibility, and communication between providers and long-term care facilities. This position works in an office setting providing administrative support to providers working at contracted care facilities in the surrounding area. Key Responsibilities: Answer phones and schedule provider appointments Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures Maintain accurate files and medical records Perform data entry related to patient billing, transcription, and insurance claims Follow legal and ethical standards in all tasks Join us and make a difference in the lives of our patients by ensuring they receive the highest level of care.
