Day-to-day activities will vary from greeting and interacting with patients, collecting patient intake information, returning phone calls, responding to electronic patient correspondence, setting up rooms and preparing for aesthetic procedures while executing our goal to provide excellent and personal patient care. Qualifications Prepares the room and the client for aesthetic procedures and surgeries, including setting up equipment, taking pictures and providing documentation. Performs numbing application. Maintains medical terminology knowledge, especially as it pertains to aesthetics. Professionally responds to patient messages, and patient phone call inquiries. Professionally greets clients and ensures all necessary documents are properly filled out and signed. Helps room patients for procedures. Communicates aftercare follow up instructions to patients. Ensures accuracy in all charting activities. Assisting with ordering and inventory of medical supplies. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by always keeping information confidential in compliance with all HIPAA and OSHA rules and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing all related tasks as needed. Always provides superior customer service excellence. Remains flexible on behalf of the position and the team Ability to interact both positively and professionally through multiple departments within the practice. Requirements: Education and Experience Requirements: Medical Assistant experience or the equivalent thereof in a high-volume medical setting with the ability to read, write. Completion of a technical/vocational training school program with either CMA, AAMA, RMA, or CCMA Medical Assistant certification -OR- Emergency Medical Technician certification. Previous experience charting in the room for the PA-C or NP.
