Description Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your duties will include performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our occupational medicine clinic. Responsibilities: Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient records, assisting with billing and coding tasks. Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries. Verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims. Performing basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and administering medications. Assisting our providers with drug testing, physical evaluations, drawing blood samples and other clinical duties. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the back office and exam rooms. Providing patient education and answering patient questions. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and ethical standards. Follow company policies, procedures, and directives. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the practice. Assisting with medical procedures as needed. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
